North American F-100D Super Sabre Som afløsning for F-84G fik ESK727 i 1959 30 stk. F-100 (17 F-100D og tre F-100F), og da ESK725 og ESK730 to år senere også modtog F-100, kom det samlede antal op på 58. - På grund af havarier var dette tal ved udgangen af 1966 reduceret til 41 fly, og p.g.a. bl.a. Vietnam-krigen var det umuligt at få erstatning.
